XLStat Export

This option lets you to export case classification and coding counts to an excel file for statistical analysis. In other words, XLStat Export associates the coding frequencies with case attributes like demographic data, allowing for more in-depth quantitative analysis in Excel/XLStat. For example, you can analyze how often topics like "Fishing industry decline" were discussed in interviews that can highlight key stress factors across participant groups.

Export case classifications and code counts

  1. On the Share tab, click Export -> XLStat Export.

  2. For Case Classification:

    1. Click Select and choose the case classification that you would like to analyze.

    2. Click OK.

  3. For Codes:

    1. Click Select and choose the code(s) for which you want the counts for analysis.

    2. Click OK.

  4. Click Export.

    If you do not have XLSTAT installed, you can choose to avail the free trial by clicking on the link. Alternatively, you can click Open in Excel.

  5. Browse the location to save the file.

  6. Click Save.
