Compact projects

Over time, project data on your local computer can become fragmented, causing performance problems (especially in large projects).

To ensure optimal performance, you should compact projects on a regular basis.

Compact a project

1. If the project is currently open, close the project.
2. From the File menu, click Compact Project, and then select the project you want to compact.
3. Click Compact.
