On the Data tab of the options panel, in the Show results as group, select one of the options listed below:

  • Cases Coded  Displays the number of cases with selected attribute values that are coded to the intersecting node. Use this to answer questions like How many females talked about development?
  • Files Coded  Displays the number of files with selected attribute values that are coded to the intersecting node. Use this to see the patterns of different themes occurring in your files in different years.
  • Coding References Displays the number of references coded at cases (or files) with selected attribute values and the intersecting node. Use this to answer questions like How often did women mention community?
  • Coding Presence Displays whether there is coding at cases (or files) with selected attribute values and the intersecting nodes. When you select this, the cells display Yes or No.

These options will vary depending on whether you selected a case classification or file classification when defining the query.
